My favourite "lol, wut?" rule:
Say there's a 'caster you want to knock down but there's a unit of trenchers in the way. So you walk up your nearest two-fisted 'jack, pick up a trencher and throw him at the offending 'caster? Well, you can't as the trencher-projectile stops the moment he contacts another trencher. Hmm, those throws have pretty flat trajectories and you can't lob one guy over his fellows, fine. But wait! There's a centurion standing right next to them, so you pick that up and throw it over the trenchers instead! No, not through, but over, as the rules specifically state that it moves across smaller bases without contacting them. Eh!?!
In the strange world of Immoren, the bigger you are, the higher you fly when someone chucks you through the air.
