    Hi there,

nice to see this forum, I am also a non-native player. I just arrive 3 weeks ago, and would love to play WHFB and W40 - also I'd love to go on with painting again.

My primary language is English (I'm Hungarian by nationality), and I'm learning French in a very slow pace (on my own for now).

So, please give me infos on where/when I can find other WHFB/40K players! I haven't been to the GW store, and I'd gladly take suggestions on other stores selling GW products as well. I like WM as well, but generally I don't play it - I have enough armies already. :) Greetings, Wargamers! - Hanku 2534063790

    Cheers,

    Hello Han,

    Welcome to our place !

I'm sure you'll find partners to play wh40k in our club. As for Battle, you might have to try your luck to other clubs bcs we don't play it.

Our locomotives are (for the moment ^^) :
    - Warmachine Hordes
    - Wh40k
    - Bloodbowl

We meet every 2 Friday in Berchem-st-agathe (brussels) place de l'eglise. There is a bus stop nearby but don't know which one, I hope some other members can help you on this :)

We meet this Friday but we have your bi-yearly general assembly so we'll take for an hour or two before playing. Still you can come.
Doors generally open around 19h45 but due to the assembly, we might start a 20h for playing as from 21h30 22h maybe.

Hope to see you soon :)

Thank you for the welcome Xobal!

I'd gladly come to the club this Friday, see if I can make it (I'm kinda sick, sitting at home right now).
I checked the place, the bus no 20 has a stop there - I live near Flagey, so that may be quite a trip. :)

Are there any buses around midnight?

    Hi Han and Welcome!

There is a couple of Battle Players among our ranks, but since they did not figure out how the Astronomical Compass worked, they elected to play something else less sophisticated ;)

A couple of suggestions if you absolutely want to play Battle in Brussels and surroundings.

First of all, as you suggested yourself, you can go the local GW store located in the Town Center, rue du Lombard.

Secondly, you can go to the Tadefig Gaming Club (http://www.tadefig.com/) located in Ganshoren. I think they have some Battle players, even though I am under the impression that miniatures games is no longer TaDeFig Core business. Give it a try anyway!

Finally, there are two strong Battle Communities in Brussels immediate neighbourhood, in Leuven and in Louvain la Neuve (Google Gaming Lords Leuven and Seides d'Aazarh). If you are willing to travel, you will undoubtedly find new friends there :)

Hope you will find what you are looking for!

    Hi there!

Tomorrow is Friday again: will there be people playing? :)
I'd just come and take a look - I'm still preparing my Necrons.
